"The real joy of life is in its play. Play is anything we do for the joy and love of doing it, apart from any profit, compulsion, or sense of duty. It is the real joy of living". Walter Rauschbusch

"What can I tell you about happiness that you don’t already know at the very core of your being?  You may have ‘forgotten’ perhaps, as I have.  But let’s remember, together.  Let's return to the original Self we long for - that Self that is forever at peace, forever joyous, limitless, powerful, abundant and free!  And as we do, let's become Conscious Creators, Bold Adventurers, creatively exploring infinite possibilities as we flow in this enchanting journey we casually call Life!"

How do I drop my Conditioning?

How do I drop my conditioning?

How do you drop anything?

There are two ways. One is to be aware of what you’re holding and then just let it out of your hands. You can do this suddenly or gently or violently. You can do it reluctantly or willingly. You can do it confidently or feeling fearful. I suggest doing it the way that you feel you can best handle it, recognizing that all feelings, good or bad, are momentary, unless you choose to hold on to them.

The other way is to fix your focus so steadfastly on what you want so that what you want to drop automatically and effortlessly does. How? Well, when you focus on what you want, energy is taken up almost exclusively by what you want. There is no or little energy left to hold on to anything else. Thus, whatever has been held drops.

Of the two ways, the second may be a little easier, although in both cases, having an alternative focus is essential. You see, there is a physical law called Boyle’s Law which states simply that ‘nature abhors a vacuum’.

What this means is that the state of a vacuum is an unstable state such that prevailing conditions will adjust to regain stability. In the case of your focus, to simply drop the focus without having something else to focus on has the effect of creating a vacuum. It is an unstable situation.

You experience the truth of this when you try giving up a certain habit. If you don’t have anything to replace it with, you are more likely to revert to the old habit.

So, dropping your conditioning is like that. Finding a new focus is necessary. But what is this new focus? The unconditioned, of course.

Conditioned, unconditioned. What are they? How am I to know one from the other?

May I continue tomorrow?
