"The real joy of life is in its play. Play is anything we do for the joy and love of doing it, apart from any profit, compulsion, or sense of duty. It is the real joy of living". Walter Rauschbusch

A blog about Inner Happiness, Consciousness and Freedom!
"What can I tell you about happiness that you don’t already know at the very core of your being?  You may have ‘forgotten’ perhaps, as I have.  But let’s remember, together.  Let's return to the original Self we long for - that Self that is forever at peace, forever joyous, limitless, powerful, abundant and free!  And as we do, let's become Conscious Creators, Bold Adventurers, creatively exploring infinite possibilities as we flow in this enchanting journey we casually call Life!"

Doing more by being more!

We are so caught up with ‘doing‘ that we forget about ‘being‘.  In fact, we forget that our best ‘doing ‘ originates in our highest state of ‘being’.  Unfortunately, we have been so conditioned into ‘action’ and into needing to be ’seen to be doing/acting’, we cease to bring into our doing  the  highest quality of our being.

Well, what would happen if you stopped ‘doing’?  Would you cease to exist?  Oh no.  On the contrary, if  you remain awake and aware,  you find yourself becoming more of your original self – the self of pure awareness!  But your original self is so much more for it is also the self of  sweet peace, unceasing joy, limitless potential and a tour de force of creative energy!

What an amazingly potent state of ’self’ that is!  Filled with peace and joy and in a state of vast awareness, your creative energy is allowed to do its most powerful work!  This is your highest state of efficiency in which you accomplish the most with the least (effort).

If you find that you seem to be doing a lot without experiencing the joy and satisfaction of doing, it is time to stop ‘doing’ and retreat into your original self.  Reconnect once more with its energy, its limitlessness, its uncaused joy and peace, its natural passion for life.

All it takes is a few minutes.  Do it as a means of interrupting the cycle of stale, uncreative work.  Take a walk or sit in a quiet spot and imagine placing your mind by a gentle stream.  Just watch it as it sits by the river.  Enjoy the peace and effortlessness of just being.  Do it as many times in the day as you wish and watch how fresh and alive you feel each time!

Let you typical thinking, planning, reasoning and fearing cease.  Drop it all as you tune into your original self.  And as you sit in its nurturing, loving, radiant and peaceful presence, find yourself being inspired in new and unexpected ways!  Only then will your doing truly match your being!

A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.
