Dear Visitor
As a result of certain lifestyle choices I have made, I am increasingly needing to rely on income through online sources to supplement my offline income. I made the decision some years ago that I would strive to support myself and my children by working independently. This despite having a degree and professional experience in education (secondary and tertiary), research, interviewing, Human Resource Management, writing and a variety of voluntary work experiences including acting, singing, radio broadcasting and emceeing.
I’d like to offer my services to you or someone or some organization you may know who might find them useful. I have listed the main ones below but being the ‘Jill’ of many trades that I am, there may be ones not listed that may emerge as a result of something you might need! (Let’s be creative here shall we?)
You will find that I have deliberately not stipulated a fee although I do provide a suggested minimum fee. I would like to think that you will pay according to what you are most comfortable with. My personal philosophy about ‘payment for services’ is this:
Anything done with love is priceless.
Because I attempt to do all my work in love, I believe that what I do is priceless. However, at this stage of our social evolution, money is still the medium through which essential goods and services are procured. In other words, I do need to have some figures in my bank account to enable me to pay for my rent, electricity, petrol, car registration fees, food, water, phone, internet…and to travel overseas to visit my elderly mother and my other siblings about once a year. Hence my preparedness to exchange services for digits i.e. money.
If, however, none of my services (listed or imagined) are any use to you, you might consider leaving a donation. Why would you do that? I cannot answer that for you but dare I suggest that if you have found this site useful and would like to support me in keeping this and my other sites going, then that might be a reason. On the other hand, why not be completely radical and do it for no reason at all or for the very selfish reason that ‘it makes me (that’s you) happy’! I’m being facetious (about the reason not the donation) so please don’t mind me too much.
In any case, whatever you decide, I am really grateful for your presence here and for whatever you contribute to my upkeep!

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
Are you or your child learning English as a second/foreign language? Do you need help? I have oodles of experience helping children and adults learn English for their academic, social and/or professional needs. My teaching strategies are fun, effective and draw on your strengths always. Online tutoring couldn’t be easier!
EMCEEING AND SPEAKING
Have you got an event that you need a fresh face and hopefully a fresh voice and message for? Why not explore what I can do. I love most topics but of course, the ones closest to my heart are to do with our life journey, our personal and spiritual growth informed by a variety of sources including Christianity, Buddhism, Vedanta, Education and Cognitive Psychology and Science. Some of my pet topics are The Nature of Mind, Meditation, Mind-Body healing, Relationships and Peaceful Living.
As for my favorite audiences? Ones who are alive and preferably seated. From children to seniors, I am fascinated and inspired by them all!

RETREATS AND WORKSHOP FACILITATION
I love running workshops and retreats for private and corporate groups. The opportunity to take people on a journey, whether for a few hours, a day, a weekend or a week is truly a privilege and a time of discovery for all. Often my retreats and workshops will incorporate rituals which draw on a variety of sacred traditions but which are adapted to suit the particular group of participants. All retreats and workshops also include a debrief session done either in a group or one-on-one. And they all include some form of relaxation/meditation activity to help place participants in an optimum space for discovery, learning and growth.
One of the things that I would really love to explore is online workshops and retreats. If you and your group are a little adventurous, why not explore this medium with me?
Do I need to say that facilitation fees do not include charges related to booking and hiring of and travel to venues?

BLOG START-UP
Do you or your child or a technophobic friend need to get your blog up and running? Perhaps you just need to define or refine your blog name, purpose and just get it going with a few posts to get you started. I could help you with that.
There are a number of free blog hosting services which provide some excellent, user-friendly templates that we could use. So get in touch. Blogging is such a personally rewarding activity and a way of making contact with people you wouldn’t otherwise!

LISTENING/THINKING/FEELING BUDDY
Ever feel like you could use the ear of a good listener? Someone who has the benefit of being a stranger but whom you can trust to think/feel through a problem with? Often, the process of just talking with someone starts to unblock areas in your thinking and clarify things that have been hazy and confusing. You can be assured of complete confidentiality.
