Have you ever felt deep, dark desolation?  Have you found yourself at the brink of giving up?  Has it sometimes all felt just a little bit too much, too close to the edge?  It doesn’t matter what brought you to that point but it does matter that you are there, teetering over the edge, assaulted by a rush of thoughts:   Where do you go now?  Which way do you turn?  What do you do?  Have you got the strength?  The will?  The wisdom?  What does it take?  What do you need?

As these questions spin uncontrollably in your mind, you suddenly become aware of …a ‘voice’…something or someone that ’speaks’ to you, ever so softly, so tenderly.  It asks nothing of you.  All it wants is to tell you of its love for you, its pure, unending, unstoppable love for you.  It has loved you for forever.  It loves you through eternity.  It has only one reason for being and that is to love you.  There is nothing you could do or say or be that will stop it from loving you.  It loves you unconditionally, as you are, have been and will be.  It loves you completely, knowing everything about you, knowing you in every way, knowing you more intimately than you know yourself.

So, you listen, at first unsure if you are actually ‘hearing’ this.  But soon, you are mesmerized, falling under the spell of this faceless ‘lover’.  For the first time in your life, you feel completely and utterly loved and accepted.  You are enthralled, seduced, enchanted and finally disarmed by the ardent outpourings and unshakable devotion of your lover.  Yet, every now and again, you fall out of the spell and when you do, you are riddled with doubt, distrust, old fears, worries, anxieties,guilt; the hungry demons that have troubled you most of your life.  You even distrust your lover.

Still its love never wavers.  It holds on to you with such tenderness and care that you wonder why you ever allow yourself to leave its embrace.  So you return, again and again, to be made love to, to experience once more, the magic and magnificence of pure love.  You learn to trust again, to have faith, to know like a child knows without ever having to think about it,  that all is well, always.

Normal life changes for you as you keep increasing company with your lover.  Where there was once mundanity, there is now magic. Where there was once bleak despair, there is now  irrepressible hope.  Where there was once soul-less obligation, there is now passion!  Where there was once sadness and loss, there is now joy, immeasurable and uncontainable joy!

Where there was once emptiness, disintegration and loneliness, there  is  now fullness, wholeness and completeness.  And where there was once fear, uncertainty and powerlessness, there is now love, pure, undemanding, unconditional, fearless, limitless love, exhilarating and freeing!   Life is just the way you dared not hope it would be and more, so much more!  Life is just the way it was always meant to be!  You are, for the first time, truly alive, truly in love!

Is this possible?  Could this really happen?  Could it happen to you?  Yes, oh yes, if you allow yourself the freedom to converse with The Lover.
