Hello again! Yesterday, I posted here about the profound experience of a soft gaze, a Peace Gaze. So moved was I by my recent experience of just such a gaze, only a few moments long, that I posted about it at my other blog, Longings Enchantments and Sacred Space. Today, I wish to share [...] One of the things that I have re-learnt in life is to ask questions. As a child, asking questions happened spontaneously, eagerly and fearlessly. As I grew up, it became more and more difficult to ask questions. A major reason was fear. I was afraid of being told off for being [...] “By soul I mean, first of all, a perspective rather than a substance, a viewpoint toward things rather than a thing itself. This perspective is reflective; it mediates events and makes differences between ourselves and everything that happens. Between us and events, between the doer and the deed, there is a reflective moment — and [...] My writing this morning is motivated by a jumble of thoughts, impressions and loose threads that are offering themselves for organization. I don’t know if I shall achieve that organization although I do know that the process of writing often helps me sort through such cognitive hotchpotches!
